Happy 68th Independence Day to our neighboring country.

Every 15th of August is celebrated as Independence Day by every Indian after the India got it freedom from the British Rule on this day of year, 1947.

This day is celebrated to honor the world’s biggest democracy as a National Holiday. The national flag is hoisted on the top of buildings to show the national pride. On this day, Kite flying has become a tradition, people can be seen flying kites of different shapes, colors with India’s flag printed on it. The kids and even adults are seen carrying the national flag.

On this day of the year 1947, India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru raised the Indian national flag above Lahore Gate of Red Fort in Delhi. It has been a tradition in India that on this day, the Prime Minister of India raises the flag and gives a speech to the nation. Today, in the morning at 6:25 AM IST Honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi gave a speech and hoisted the national flag on the very place.(http://independenceday.nic.in/).

The whole country will be celebrating this day as a national holiday and all the government offices and posts are closed. Traditionally, people carry rally around their places and the security is increased in these areas.

Indian far away from their country also rejoice this day through their heart on this day.

Being the neighboring country, we would also like to be a small part of their big celebration.
